How To Make Money As A Travel Blogger | Interview With HandZaround By RGNN
‘More and more backpackers are now able to sustain their travels through blogging, filmmaking and/or photography. Hanna and Zach are two of them. Hanna is from Poland, Zach is from Australia, but they met and lived in London. In October 2016, they decided to pack up their cameras and other essentials and set off first to Asia, then Australia, USA, and finally Africa, where they are now. On their website, HandZaround, they share travel stories, tips, photographs and films from their journey. They’re all about independent travel, off-the-beaten track destinations and ‘slow travel’.’ - read the interview RGNN.org did with us a few months back.

Dallol, Ethiopia - The Danakil Depression Story | HandZaround
'This time our legs didn't know what to expect. We would walk onto something that looked solid and hard, only to find out that our shoes would sink a little into the red and yellow mixture. (...) The Danakil Depression was the most unique experience we've ever had. It was difficult, hot and uncomfortable but isn't it the price you pay for beautiful things?'
In The Heart of Oromia - Horse Galloping Ceremony | Story, Film & Photographs | HandZaround
The circle around us was slowly tightening. I'm not sure how many pairs of eyes were scrutinising our faces, but there were A LOT. The long bamboo sticks that each boy and man were holding didn't really add to our comfort. We actually weren't too sure how we would get out of the situation - we were a 30-minute walk down the rolling hills and bushes to the car, and a four hour drive north of Addis. But anyways, what did it matter?! We didn't even have the car keys! (...)
In the Mountains of Tigray - Rock-hewn Churches of Ethiopia | Story and Film by HandZaround
Tigray Churches are famous for their picturesque location, beautiful history and somewhat difficulty to reach. Whilst some of them are an off-road drive and a 5 minute walk up the stone stairs, others require walking for hours, climbing vertical rock shelves, and an ability to let go of your fear of heights!! We opted for trekking and climbing - we captured it in film and in our Tigray Churches story - read on!

Trekking in Nepal for Non-Trekkers
The temperature wasn’t too high but the trek up the steep rocky path did its job in making my forehead drip in sweat. The green bush on the sides of the path sounded like a bunch of birds, cicadas and other unknown creatures joining forces to sing at the top of their little lungs. (...). We had just passed a local man walking in his flip-flops with a basket full of wood strapped to his forehead. He wasn’t anywhere near as sweaty as we were...
