Dallol, Ethiopia - The Danakil Depression Story | HandZaround

'This time our legs didn't know what to expect. We would walk onto something that looked solid and hard, only to find out that our shoes would sink a little into the red and yellow mixture. (...) The Danakil Depression was the most unique experience we've ever had. It was difficult, hot and uncomfortable but isn't it the price you pay for beautiful things?'

Should we be scared going to Ethiopia?

Should we be scared going to Ethiopia?

Ending Up In Bangkok's Hospital & Why We Think This Travel Insurance Is Best For Backpackers

'I woke up with sore chest. I looked under my t-shirt and the little red mark I first noticed two days ago, was now so big, red and swollen (...). The hospital felt more like a luxurious hotel, than a place where they deal with patients. (...) We had to pay for the registration, initial basic tests, doctor's appointment and antibiotics!' aka Why you really DO NEED travel insurance?
